Handling has been one of the few true passions in my life. I started out with my own dogs, going to handling classes and practicing consistently. As I started doing much better with my own dogs, I was asked to show dogs belonging to others. From there I have become one of the better conformation handlers in the Rare Breed dog arena. I have turned a hobby that I truly love into a profession that I have earned respect for my abilities in.

My approach to handling is most often from the dogs' perspective. I use consistent, repetitive cues and commands that the dogs I work with come to know fairly quickly and associate with me. We form a very special and unique bond of mutual respect. I've found that the majority of dogs respond well to that and are more willing to do what I ask, when I ask. With my style of approach to handling, not only are the dogs relatively at ease, but so are their people!

I've shown many dogs to various titles and I tailor the show year around the goals of the owners. I always take the time to answer questions to the best of my ability and provide owners with a clear plan for reaching their goals and the financial costs of doing so. I'm also available for private training sessions as the need and desire arises.
